Tiverton, Canada – Following a Private Family Service on June 23rd, Kinectrics held a company-wide Moment of Silence to reflect on the tragic fatal injury at the KI North facility.
We extend our condolences to the deceased’s family and friends and to his co-workers at Western Mechanical Electrical Millwrights Ltd. We were honored to have Vern Roote, an Elder from Saugeen First Nation, perform an Anishinabek ceremony at the site on Thursday morning. In memory of the deceased, a tree will be planted at the KI North Facility.
Work has resumed at the Kinectrics facility. The Ministry of Labor investigation continues. Additional information will be made available when appropriate.
