This collaboration, confirmed through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), establishes a mutually beneficial partnership focusing on collaboration, research, and talent development.

By working together with Ontario Tech University, which delivers the only accredited Nuclear Engineering undergraduate program in Canada, we aim to create opportunities for students and graduates to gain hands-on experience, mentorship, as well as networking opportunities that help create clear paths for talented minds to embark on fulfilling careers in the nuclear industry.

The partnership will focus on joint research and innovation in various nuclear applications, including advanced reactors, Small Modular Reactors (SMRs), fuel, and power grids, as well as areas like fusion technologies, robotics, health physics, radiation science, hydrogen technologies, decommissioning, waste management, environmental remediation, advanced manufacturing, cyber security, high-performance computing, and artificial intelligence.
